Michael Angelo Janello

	Michael Angelo Janello, 77, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Thursday afternoon, May 29, 2003 at Marshall Browning Hospital.
	Mr. Janello was a retired material handler for Turco Manufacturing.  He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, K of C Council 1298, VFW Post 513 and American Legion Post 647.
	Mike did volunteer work at Gold Plate, Fair Acres Nursing Home and Fairview Nursing  Center.
	He was born January 16, 1926 in Du Quoin, the son of Joseph and Rose (Salviote) Janello.  He married Lorraine Taylor on April 15, 1967 and she survives.
	Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Janello of Du Quoin; three sons, Bill Glidewell and friend Linda Ritter, Paul Glidewell and Ed Glidewell, all of Du Quoin; two daughters, Ruth (Joseph) Fronek of Tamaroa and Linda (Clifford) Morgan of Du Quoin; one sister, Jennie Elliot of Evansville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
	The funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.  Interment was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion.
	Friends called after 6 p.m. Sunday at Maxton Funeral Chapel in Du Quoin.  The Rosary was said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Maxton Chapel.
